This Weekend’s Live Music Listings: Houston Pop/R&B + Nashville Garage Punk
Hey folks! We posted here a few weeks back looking for feedback. The response was great (thanks!) so we thought we'd post the listings here moving forward.
This Week's Highlights:
- Peso Pluma – from Guadalajara, Mexico, Peso Pluma’s sultry and eclectic sound has revolutionized the Spanish-language music world. He’ll be playing at the Toyota Center at 8:00pm Friday.
- Valen the Valentine – born on Valentine’s Day, this Houston-based artist is a cool fusion of pop and R&B. She’ll be playing at Dan Electro’s on Sunday at 8:00pm.
- Yucks – this versatile Nashville garage punk band will be playing at Axelrad at 7:00pm this Friday. We really enjoy “Her Hands” from their 2022 album On The Fence.
