it’s so hard to make friends

i’m (21f) always struggling to make friends now because i barely talk to anyone from hs and i didn’t go to college where it seems everyone my age is making their life long friends. my only friends are my bf and one other person. houston seems like such a bad area to make friends bc there are no third places besides home and school. i don’t drink and smoke just a little bit but everyone just wants to go clubbing or to bars. where can i meet like-minded people?
