Relocating to Houston possibly
I imagine you get a lot of these posts, but I visited Houston a year ago for my first business trip for a former company I worked at. The city reminded me a lot of where I’m from, Detroit.
My main question is: what is living in Houston downtown without a car? Is it just no bueno? I see you have a street car system, but idk if it’s running well? What’s your take? I’ve lived in Michigan without a car for the last 3 years (in Detroit, Lansing, and Rochester if you’re familiar), so I’m no stranger to biking and using public transit. Right now I’m in a metro Detroit suburb and desperately craving somewhere I can live without a car and a decent cost of living + an economy not focused on automobiles. Houston seems Maaaaaybe like that
