Suggestions for parks and lunch and stuff to do?

Tomorrow is my bf’s and my anniversary so I thought it’d be nice to walk around a park in Houston and get some lunch somewhere near there so we can just eat outside at the park. Any suggestions for places to eat or check out? Are there any streets with cute shops and cafes in a nicer area oh Houston? For parks I was thinking either Memorial Park or Discovery Green but lmk if you have any suggestions 🙂
