Hong Kong city mall origin?

I was wondering if anyone knew more about this mall. Today I ended up exploring it and I see it’s really old looking. I am just curious when was this built. Was it anything else before it was a Vietnamese mall? Was the building specifically built for it to be a Vietnamese mall?

I’m young so I of course have no idea as to what it used to be or when it was built.
