Buying home on cypresswood dr 77373

Well I am first time home buyer. New built was affordable only on cypresswood dr. Just curious to know more about the area. it will be a great help if you can share the experience and reviews. I see cypresswood dr is a busy rd and people seems not bothered on cutting their grass. No offense to anyone but just wanted to know if the area is safe to live.
