Food banks in or near Spring Branch with fresh fruit?

I have a buddy on SSI whose heart problems have him very limited on sodium intake. With the recent power outage, he is replacing almost all his food but is discovering that the food banks he has visited mostly have prepackaged food he can't eat.

Are there places or agencies in or near Spring Branch (77080) that could get him fresh fruit?
