Vehicle Title Limbo From Shady Dealer

Ok, long story short i bought a vehicle from a dealer who has since shutdown due to malpractice. Now i've got a vehicle with no title and concerned on what i should do.

Here's what happened; i bought the vehicle, threw money down, and got temp plates. The year is 2022. Time passes when i should have received my new plates and began my financing payments, but nothing happens. I call the dealer, they say theres a delay and its coming. Call again and again, and get similar bullshit. Call a lawyer eventually. Lawyer tells me they're no longer in business. Come to find the business went under for malpractice. Apparently they've done this to a bunch of people, didnt report sales, didnt pay commissions, etc, and it caught up with them. Life happens, i use the vehicle til the plate expires and get distracted with life for two years. Now i want to do some part work on the vehicle and take it on a trip out of state. I began my Request for Title Hearing paperwork and get any documents together i can. Apparently ive misplaced the proof of sale in this process. I have my old temp plate and my insurance when i bought it but not the proof of sale. So im worried i wont be able to prove i got the bike and some kind of fuckery may happen.
