Area to buy house

Hi – currently we live in Jersey village area and looking to move out towards 77493. My daughter will be starting school and we are looking to put her into good school. If we go towards katy isd – what area do you recommend? Is bridgeland any better? Our budget is 500k plus for house. Any area suggestions or school suggestions would be nice. We are new to Houston
