Canadian Pacific 2816 Steam Locomotive to travel through Houston today

As a promotional tour commemorating the merger of Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern, Canadia Pacific 2816 will pass through Houston today on its way to Laredo. 2816 is a 1930 steam locomotive that is embarking on a massive tour from Alberta to Mexico City. It is scheduled to leave Beaumont at 12:50PM tomorrow and pass through Houston sometime in the afternoon. The company’s website has a tracker so you can follow the train’s location (will link in comments). If you live near Washington Ave, Memorial Park, Bellaire/West U or Sugar Land you’ll have a decent chance to see it on some nearby railroad tracks.
