Houston, TX Apt suggestions

Soo guys, my best friend is looking to move to Houston by the end of summer and is looking at a few areas for apartments. She’s narrowed it down to Katy, Pearland, Sugar land, that area. Can anyone provide some insight on her choices or possibly provide some options? She’s single, no kids, would like to live in a nice apartment complex and can go up to $2000 a month. Any advice would be nice!
