Not sure how this will be received…

So, I was a Falcons fan starting in the 80s at 7 yo, because my dad was. They sucked for what felt like forever, but I was there rooting. Then Blank bought the team and they did well for a while. Then, that Super Bowl happened, and I couldn’t watch the NFL for three years. I didn’t play FF for those years either. My heart was just broken and I just couldn’t do it. I’ve been more than disappointed with horrible decisions that they’ve made over and over since then. I’ve tried to sit down and watch the games for years now and just don’t care for them anymore.

I am also a huge UGA fan, and was totally impressed by Stroud when we played OSU in that playoff game. I had him and Dell on my fantasy team last year, and would watch the Texans play whenever I could. I found myself rooting them on every week more and more and they slowly became my new team. My friends say, and even my son says, that I can’t just pick a new team. I found myself excited at the thought of new uniforms, which they hit it out of the park with them. Then, Lassiter (one of my favorite players at UGA) got picked with our first pick, and I think it is just meant to be for me. I know some won’t agree, but the heart wants what the heart wants.
