Where can I donate unused toys?

Hello Houston! Where can I donate a few Hess Toy Trucks. Ideally to an organization (preferably non-religious) that would give the trucks to kids who will actually play with them, instead of ending up for sale in some thrift shop. I was thinking Toys for Tots, but I've only seen their toy drives around the Christmas holidays. For those unfamiliar, Hess releases a new toy truck every year. I have about 6 unopened ones from recent years, no old collectibles or special editions.
