Tip: Shorter security line Harris county courts in downtown.

Ok so if you need to go to court (civil, jury duty, juvenile, family, criminal, etc..) (Harris County courts only in downtown not municipal) and don’t want to wait in the huge security lines, there’s an alternative no one knows about.

The garage behind the civil courthouse, 201 Caroline, has a basement that connects to a tunnel system that leads to all the surrounding court buildings and the jury center.

There’s a security check there with little to no lines. You don’t even need to park there just go to the elevators and head into the basement.

Once you’re past the security check the tunnel will direct you to which ever court house you need to go to. And just like that you’re past all the peasants waiting in line outside.
