Affordable vet clinic that can take out a lump on dog

Hello. I know this isn’t the post you normally see on here but my rescue is 5 and I’ve had her for 2 years. I got her as a student in college and just graduated so money is tight/nonexistent. I saved up enough to bring her in to get a little lump checked and poked and they want to take it out. Of course I want her to have it out as well but total costs are around $1100 and I don’t have the money to do that at this moment. I am in the woodlands/Spring area but am willing to drive anywhere within/around Houston if anyone knows of a clinic or place that charges less than this or just more affordable prices in general. Maybe there’s a vet school that does practice surgeries and charge less? I just don’t know where to start on this but I don’t want my dogs limp to get worse. Any info would be helpful, thanks y’all!
