Seeking recs for a quality, daily local newsletter

I subscribe to a quality daily morning newsletter that arrives to my inbox around 6am and covers national and global affairs. I get Space City Weather alerts every day and listen to 88.7 Monday – Friday mornings, but I feel like I'm missing out on broader local news, with r/Houston and Grizzy as my primary sources, which aren't exactly comprehensive, even if they are entertaining.

The weekly "Things To Do in Houston" newsletter has been great, too, but I'm looking more for like, a consolidated group of local news headlines (with links to actual stories) in an easily digestible format to stay informed. Is the Chronicle still any good? Haven't read it since I left my parents house. Houston Press? TV station social media accounts seem to be missing quality information and they're riddled with typos, which doesn't inspire confidence.
