Is 1 year of elite wr play worth a high second?
Super excited to see Diggs ball out this year, and I totally buy the argument that he will be incentivized to perform and not cause drama on a 1 year deal. If he’s good though, I doubt he will return next year since he’ll make more elsewhere.
As such, I am confused on the compensation. Given that Nick hits on his picks, a likely high Vikings second would give us a high impact player for multiple years of our SB window. Diggs lasts one year.
So here’s the question: why does this 1 year of elite Diggs play outweigh 4 years of highly probable 2025 second round player play?
