In June 2001, in Houston, TX, Andrea Yates drowned her five children in the bathtub of their home after her husband left for work. Yates laid her drowned sons John, Paul, and Luke in her bed. She then drowned her daughter Mary and son Noah leaving Mary in John’s arms in the bed and Noah in the tub.
