water bill high this month

hi question—water bill usually ranges around 30ish a month. This month it’s at 60.88. Looks like the fixed charges add up to 22 but how are my sewage and water consumption charges up to where my bill is effectively doubled? Nothing’s changed. Obviously going to call Houston water works after work but wondering if any you had the same thing happen this month
