Rumor Has It Chris Godwin Could Be Moved.

Godwin is due 27.5M this year in the last year of his current deal, for contract context. The Bucs may have to move off him.

Unlike Higgins or Diggs he won’t have to be given a new deal this year and isn’t demanding an extension. This would still give us the flexibility to extend Nico.

Now, I’m personally of the mindset that we should shore up the secondary with our additional cap space. But with Nick going after Keenan Allen earlier this month it’s clear bringing in a top end slot WR is on his radar. There is no doubt that Godwin is just that.
