Houston oil CEOs talk methane emissions: How are they collaborating to keep people safe?
Conversations around mitigating methane emissions have begun to be treated as safety measures by some of the world’s top oil and gas CEOs. In a roundtable with eight CEOs of companies that are members of the Oil and Gas Climate Initiative, held at CERAWeek by S&P Global in Houston, executives such as Exxon Mobil Corp. CEO Darren Woods and Occidental Petroleum Corp. CEO Vicki Hollub said they are looking at reducing methane emissions in the same way they focus on safety.
