[Kawahara] Framber Valdez did not call his own pitches with PitchCom today. Joe Espada said coaches discussed it with Valdez and reasoned Valdez can focus more on pitch execution and holding runners if the catcher is giving signals. He said he thought Valdez worked at a better pace today.
