Photography at Spring Training

For anyone that has brought camera gear to Spring Training…

1. Were you able to get some good shots?
2. Did any of the staff give you issues about taking photos during the games/practice?
3. Is it even worth trying to bring in a lens over 8 inches?

Would really love to bring in my Sony 200-600mm lens, but feel like there is no chance getting it past security.
