Where Do I Go to Set-Up a Beach Bonfire

Please, forgive the simple innocence of this question. I’m a college kid who has never set up anything of my own planning for my birthday before, and this year I just want to try doing something simple but fun that I’ve always wanted to do. I’ve always wanted to have a beach bonfire, with alcohol if possible, with some good friends. Where can I go to make this happen? I don’t mind driving down to Surfside, for example, but I’d like to know where I can go/who do I get in touch with?
