Voting Text Bombardment

I get more than 10 texts per day asking me to vote in the primary. It comes from different numbers and blocking and reporting as spam does not help. They seem to know that I have not voted yet. how did they get my cell phone number? How do they know whether or not I voted? How can I make this stop?
