Galleria/uptown to Brenwood/barker cypress road

Hey everyone I recently took a job offer that will be in (on?) barker cypress road right next to brenwood in Katy

I’ve read a few threads on here that Houston to Katy can either take 30 minutes or 2 hours, I am in my early twenties and single so I do NOT want to live in Katy but somewhere like uptown or galleria as I’ve read it’s good for young people.

Is this a fine commute or could it still take 2 hours? 7-3 everyday.

I’m not set on moving to one spot but I’ve just read uptown and galleria are good for young people. I don’t mind a 40 minute commute

Oh and sorry for causing more traffic or whatever but I simply will be homeless if I stay here in Boston 🥲
