The dream of the mid-2000’s is alive in Paradigm’s Precision IPA

I’m enjoying this beer immensely and I finally figured out one big reason why: nostalgia. It’s a great beer, there’s an almost delicate balance of hop flavors in this American IPA. For me, it harkens back to many flagship IPA’s that were released by breweries on and around the west coast in the early to mid 2000’s which is just when I was getting to enjoy the IPA style.

Also, this beer’s overall profile is a nice departure from the high alc, juice-laden hazy’s that taste like someone poured grapefruit schnapps into my beer. It has a strong hop profile but it’s more piney and… delicate? I don’t know how else to describe it. Actually I just looked at the can and that’s why it’s called “Precision” IPA. That’s what happens when I try to sound smart…

Anywho, definitely recommend.
