Genuine question, please help

Does anyone know of safe, affordable, 7 month lease, and close to NE Houston apartments??

I have looked far and wide, there are some that have all of the above except I couldn't tell by the area and the reviews whether it was really safe or not.

Back story: I have been living in houston for the past 6 months and my apartment complex is not ~great~.. cars getting broken into, tires and rims stolen, 3 shootings there (no one injured thankfully) since I moved here, a regular interval of drug dealers, and the cherry on top: a man leaving a note of my car saying some vulgar and explicit things about me and my body (grape without the g type language). That said…. I want to leave.
