Recs of Pure Houston Charm

I'm leaving Houston soon, and while I think I've seen a bit, I realized how much it's become like home, and I don't want to blame covid for not experiencing it more.

What should I see before I leave? I'd love almost spam level recs of restaurants (Asian, Mexican, any other great cuisines to try, mentioned those two as I haven't eaten there as much), things to see and do.

Some things already on my list: 1. Mural hunting 2. The museums if I can 3. Sam Houston statue 4. Menil Collection

Some specific recs I'd love: 1. Best spots for skyline pics 2. Best rooftop recs or just anything in downtown 3. Things that are unique to Houston
