Small Retirement Dinner Help

I’m setting up a retirement dinner (6 people) for a colleague for this Wednesday night. He’s been with the company for over 30 years and I want to make this special. Usually we’d have our event planner set this up but they’re out of Dallas and every time we have an out of town event/dinner they find the local equivalent of a Chili’s. I’m also an out of towner, Austin I’ll apologize now.

He lives in Copperfield so I’m looking for something kinda close, maybe between there and the Galleria. He’s a steak and potatoes guy, but the others attending would probably want some seafood options as well. I panicked Friday and booked a table at Tribute but I’m second guessing that there’s better options out there.

I was looking at Lynn’s and Taste of Texas earlier but wanted to check with this sub since y’all know the area better.

TLDR: Looking for recommendations on a local, non-chain steakhouse with seafood that’s either a quiet enough to hold a conversation or has a small private room between Copperfield and the Galleria for a special occasion, party of 6.
