Job offer in Houston

Hi folks,

Our family of three, consisting of my wife, our 2-year-old toddler, and myself, all Canadian citizens residing in Ontario, is currently considering a job offer I received in Houston, which comes with a salary increase. As part of this move, I will be obtaining a TN visa, and we are exploring options for my partner and daughter to secure appropriate visas. A significant consideration is that my wife will need to resign from her current position.

We are in the process of gathering comprehensive information before making a decision, and we have a few key questions:

1. What steps can my spouse take to become eligible to work in Houston and get a job offer (she works in the IT sector)?
2. Which neighborhoods are recommended for housing, taking into account my daily commute to downtown for work(safety)?
3. How can we explore obtaining other visas or even pursue US citizenship?
4. How does life in Houston compare to our current life in Canada?
