Experience taking the Metro & Bay Area Park and Ride to Westheimer Road @ Ridgewood St?

I live out in the Clear Lake/Webster area and recently got a stellar job in the Montrose area.

I don’t have the funds to move into the city or relocate right now, and spending a ton of money and wear/tear on my car five days a week on I-45 isn’t really ideal.

I’ve never used public transport before and have heard a little about Bay Area’s Park & Ride and viewed the trip it’d take for me to get to the Montrose area.

My question is, is it safe for me to take as a woman alone in the early morning and evening? Any advice?
