Why do you love Houston?

I’m currently working remote but will be relocating to Houston come September. I work in sales and will be moving to Houston with my fiancé to start working in the office. I’ve only ever been to Houston to work and haven’t gotten outside to explore very much. I’ve mostly only seen Sugarland because that’s where my office is located. My fiancé, isn’t too excited about the move, but is looking forward to the lower cost of living since we currently live in the Tampa bay area and the housing market is very high. I see a lot of mixed reviews about Houston and living there online and was hoping people on this sub. Reddit could tell me some things that I should be excited about when moving to Houston and why you enjoy living there. I would also love some advice on things to do and where we can meet people and make friends we are both in our mid to late 20s. thanks in advance.
