Hi All, I am from England UK hoping to be starting at Baylor College of Medicine in Aug 2024 for 5 years. Housing advice needed.

I am 56F coming to do my PhD (hopefully) so need advice on places to stay or avoid. Are the 55+ places dearer or cheaper?

Also will need to work out a car, licence and insurnace. I have been driving since 1991, but I have read I might need to take a test !

In the 90s my late husband said you go and learn to pass your test THEN I will teach you how to drive ….. so not sure I will pass it now too many bad habits probably 😱😱🤯😱😱
