Centerpoint Shut-off Gas thru Freeze
Centerpoint shut off our gas today without warning.
We fell behind on bills due to an autopay mishap (which we never received any emails or calls about missed payments?). They did not attempt to contact us before shutting it off this afternoon.
I got through on the emergency number since customer service is closed… they informed us that our account was also closed, and they cannot send out techs to service without an account. They told us we needed to wait until TUESDAY until account services reopened…. just nuts. The rep suggested we try to find other accommodations during the freeze.
Anything we can do to get service ahead of the freeze? Anyone have a tip or a contact that could help us out?
