After living Here for a Bit

I HAVE to say. Houston is 1m X better than Dallas. I will never get the hate for Houston and/or Texas in general. Granted this comes from a mid-20 yr old.

The people are lovely, the food is great, the homeless population is taken care of better than most major cities (please for the love of god go and google the homeless population in other major cities before attacking that comment, you will be shocked), the heat is not as bad as everyone on here swears up and down about (please go touch grass or get a gym membership OR MOVE if you want it to be cooler), there’s so much to do besides drinking, the beach—for some reason somebody will attack the Galveston beach for not being a pretty beach, comparatively, nobody in Roanoke, VA is complaining their mountains aren’t like Park City, UT; I.e. the hate for Texas.

There are obviously cons, but I cannot stand the Texas or Houston hate. The only reasonable thing I’ve seen on here is the political hate, but thats always going to come.
