Why is Mike Evans such a popular option?

Is Nico Collins not already WR1? I’m sure the Texans would love to keep him since his contract is due 2025.

In addition the draft puts out quality receivers every year for cheap. Look at Puca, Tank Dell, Rashee Rice? All available outside of the 1st round.

Would rather we spend the money on some safeties and potentially outside cornerback (Antoine Winfield, Jordan Whitehead, Jeff Okudah, Resign Steven Nelson)
