Would 1.9k rent be insane?

I am moving to Houston to work downtown and am currently looking at a 2 bedroom apartment that is about $1960 a month including fees and excluding utilities like electric and water. It would be a very very short walk to the office (I go in a couple of times a week) and would allow me to use the second bedroom as an office/guest room. Does this amount of rent sound crazy? I would be makin $90k+ a year.
