Yordan and Outfield Assists

In the 2022 season, Yordan Alvarez had 7 Outfield Assists in just 467.2 innings, but I never read or heard it mentioned, e.g. "Don't try to run on Yordan." If Yordan had young knees and could play LF regularly, perhaps he could have built on his 2022 success in the field.

In 2023, though, he only had 2 Assists in 343.1 innings, a large decrease from the previous year. Is it that he had fewer innings in '23, or did the secret get out?

I live in the Midwest now, and I don't get games (no cable). Did any announcers or TV guys ever talk about it?
