I don’t have much family so I’m on Reddit sharing my gumbo

I've lived in Houston all my life, but have family roots in Louisiana.

I've always loved how versatile gumbo recipes can be, and after Katrina the gumbo scene in Houston really exploded.

Chicken and sausage has always been a comfort style for me – though seafood has it's charm too (even though it's STUPID expensive now a days).
