Year in Review: Permian Resources’ $4.5B acquisition of Earthstone Energy was a Deal of the Week

Midland, Texas-based Permian Resources Corp. (NYSE: PR), which was formed through a merger last year, acquired The Woodlands-based Earthstone Energy Inc., which had been on its own acquisition streak, in a deal worth approximately $4.5 billion, including the assumption of debt.
