Need recommendations for graduation celebration

Hello Houston !

I am an international student, about to graduate and my parents are coming for the commencement ceremony on friday.

What restaurants would you recommend to celebrate my degree ?

I was thinking a steakhouse but maybe you could enlighten me with hidden Houston gems? And for the location, I’m in Montrose and my parents will stay downtown, so I’d say between Galleria and EaDo.
