Greyhound Midtown now officially closed

It's an end of an era. Maybe even bittersweet for anyone who had the pleasure or unfortunate opportunity to catch a bus here (or even just walk past here). Kind of embarrassing that our city leaders got caught "off guard". There was a post on this subreddit last week saying this was going to happen on November 30. I'm truly embarrassed for our city leaders.🤦🏽‍♂️

It's going to be an interesting time for the Harrisburg area. I'm not sure how they're going to fit the (relatively) large midtown operation to the small Harrisburg location. With the Metro Transit Center and the Rail line next to the Harrisburg Greyhound station, vagrancy may become a massive problem for the surrounding neighborhood. Since our city didn't know this was going to happen today, I'm extremely confident that they don't have a plan for what is about to come to Harrisburg.
