Interesting spots to visit after work?

Hello my dear Houstonians,

I recently got a job (nothing fancy) near the downtown district / galleria and I was wondering what you guys like to do after a long day of work, other than go home and shower :p. I usually go to a bar to grab a drink while I wait out traffic.

I’ve only been to little woodrow’s (midtown) and i like it because i can find solace being alone out in the fresh air, smoke a cigarette, etc minding my own business and everyone theirs. Do you guys have any favorite places similar to this? Bars preferably, or any place worth just sitting in silence at with a decent view. Any places with pretty scenery? i’m open to exploring wherever, as long as it isn’t that far from the inner loop, and if you guys want we can hang out sometime and chat about work? 23 M
