What its a must do in houston?

A bit of context, I’m flying to South America from Australia but i have a 13 hour layover in houston. I was thinking about leaving the airport to see a bit of the city but i have no idea what options there are. I will arrive early in the morning and should leave late at night. What should i do/see?
