Has there ever been a more fun season to watch?
Now that we are halfway through the season, I think it’s safe to say that this team has surpassed ALL expectations by being 4-4. That’s cool and all, and I’m VERY excited for the future of our team. However, this season has had so many moments that you never hear about happening and they’ve all made this team so fun to watch week in week out.
Off the top of my head, the weird and silly things you never see that have happened:
-
Andrew Beck scoring a kickoff return TD after first muffing it
-
After breaking the record and finally being intercepted, not only did the Texans regain possession, but CJ bounced back and scored vs the Saints
-
CJ’s first pass was to himself
-
We had a RB kick a FG for the first time in 40 years
-
CJ broke the record for most passing yards in a game WHILE tying the record for most touchdowns in a game by a rookie QB
-
We won our first home game since 2021 and we are also at .500 after our bye week since 2019
-
vs the Bucs, CJ Stroud also recorded 0 carries for 10 yards
Idk about y’all but besides winning, I care about watching good football games that are fun. Even if we don’t make the playoffs, let’s just sit back and watch the rest of this legendary rookie season by CJ Stroud unfold because I doubt we are done seeing such weird plays and outcomes.
