TUTS Student Discount

Hi! I'm planning to go to the TUTS performance of Sweeney Todd for the student rush tomorrow with a friend who has a university id, but is technically an employee. Does anyone know how closely they check IDs? I called and they said something about account creation so figured it must be a close inspection. Alternatively they could also borrow someone elses id
