Houston has so many horrible bus drivers

Seriously it's at the point that I can no longer count the number of times I've had a bus drive past me or I've seen a bus driver drive past someone standing at a stop waiting to get on the bus.

How exactly does metro expect to attract more drivers when it has so many horrible bus drivers. I made a complaint but who knows if that will do anything. I remember that for a two year period about 1/4 of the drivers of the 161 refused to drive the correct detour and Houston Metro didn't address it. At one point a representative from Houston Metro told me it wasn't their job to proactively tell the drivers to drive the correct detour. That they put the detour information in the back and it was the read it and only after rider's complained about the drivers not driving the correct detour would they do anything about it.

I've had so many horrible experiences with Houston Metro. The only thing that keeps me on the bus is the constant accidents I see in Houston with people running red lights.
