HBPs in ALCS and Astros- Rangers Rivalry

I looked at stats for hit batters by pitcher. Unsurprisingly I found that the Astros and Rangers exchanged blows evenly during the series 4-4. You wouldn't believe it based on media coverage, of course.

In 7 games batters were hit 8 times. This seems way above average. Is it just animosity and grudges between the teams? This isn't the kind of rivalry I want. This gives the media more ammo to make us look like the bad guys, granted I think our guys play bette when he league is against them, but these grudge matches make me less excited to share the fandom with my son as he grows up.

To those who think the Rangers are holier than Houston, they clearly threw more 'close calls' at our guys, but there's not a stat for that. I'm mad that the Rags didn't get called out for an intentional hit when Chapman destroyed McCormick at 104 mph… Abreu's second hit batter makes me almost certain one or both were intentional.
