Is Bendwood Park lit at night?

I'm looking for a good spot to take my girlfriend on an evening picnic. I was thinking Bendwood park might be nice, but I don't know if it's well lit or not. Also, if you have any other suggestions, please offer them. Ideally they'd be within about 15 or 20 minutes of I-10 and the beltway.
